• Email address — for payment confirmations, license delivery, and portal access
• First and last name — from your payment provider for invoice generation
• Country and postal code — for VAT determination and legal compliance
• VAT identification number — if voluntarily provided, for reverse charge invoicing
• IP address and user agent — at time of consent acceptance, as a legal record

3. Data We Do NOT Store

• Full street addresses (held only by Stripe)
• Payment card details (transmitted directly to Stripe, never touch our servers)
• Phone numbers (unless voluntarily provided)
• Bank account details (held exclusively by Stripe)

All sensitive payment data is held exclusively by our payment processor, Stripe, Inc. Stripe's privacy policy governs payment-related data.

4. How We Use Your Data

We use your personal data to: provide and manage the Services (music licensing); process payments and generate invoices; send transactional emails (payment confirmations, license details, renewal reminders); comply with legal and regulatory obligations; and improve our platform. We do not use your data for marketing purposes unless you explicitly consent.

We retain personal data for as long as necessary to provide the Services and fulfill our legal obligations. Payment records are retained for the legally required period under applicable US federal and state law. License records are retained for the duration of the license plus the statutory limitation period. You may request deletion of non-legally-required data at any time.

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share data only with: Stripe, Inc. (payment processing); and Resend (transactional email delivery). We may disclose data to comply with legal obligations, court orders, or to protect our rights.
